My Bike

I got my bike back from the shop today. Just a spring tune up. I've learned to chose carefully when finding someone to work on your baby. I call my bike "Frankenstein", but it's a term of endearment, and I want him taken care of properly.
I took him to another shop last year, paid my money, and felt secure with my ride. I was informed this year that a potentially disaterous situation was present in my fron hub, and had been there for some time. The problem has been rectified, and I'll never visit the other shop again.
The shop dude told me that the bike should coast faster now. I hit 54Km/h (33.6 m/h) downhill before the tune up; I can't imagine going much faster.

"If it was easy, everybody would do it!"

I'm Hammer, from Sudbury, Ontario, Canada and I'm an age-group triathlete. I'm also a husband, father of 3 girls, a career firefighter, and a musician. I'm a busy guy, but that's the price you pay for being a Renaissance Man.
