Well, that was a long hiatus from blogging. Around here in winter, there's just not much to talk about. But the snow's nearly gone, and I'm feeling spring in the air.
I've decided to run a marathon this year, the
Sudbury Rocks Diabetes Marathon. I've never done one, so my goal is to finish. It is in my own town, so how can I pass it up? It's on May 4, so it's approaching fast.
My triathlon season is coming together. My main race is the
Muskoka 70.3 in September. That will be my first Half Ironman, and the race is brand new. With Lisa Bentley as the course designer, I'm sure it will be fantastic.
Training is going well, but my motivation is hit-and-miss. I'm working at it. I joined
navyseals.com to get some great strength workouts, and some kick-in-the-butt for my layabout attitude.
That's it for now; off we go!
